​Our Grade 4/5 English Classes and Grade 6 French Classes are inviting you to their DWE Wild MarCAT (entrepreneur fair) in the DWE Gym on Monday December 18th from 9:15-11:00 am.  Students are encouraged to bring a small amount of money so they can purchase some of the many creative items offered for sale. Items are mostly priced up to $10. Parents and grandparents are also welcome to attend between 10:40 and 11:10.

​Students are invited to bring in coins & cash to help raise money for the Central Okanagan Food Bank. We have set a goal to raise $750! If we meet our goal, then our DWE students will earn themselves a winter dance before the break! 

While some families may wish to send in physical food items, we will only be accepting monetary donations. The Central Okanagan Food Bank explains that "monetary donations can be stretched even further: For every $1 donated to the Central Okanagan Food Bank, we can provide $4 worth of food, due to our partnerships with local, provincial, and national food retail chains." If you do wish to donate food items, please do so locally at the food bank or take part in other community food drives.
